If you are a teen, living in the Johnston-Wilson-Nash county
areas of North Carolina you are invited to try us out.
In Proteens,
we have societies, each competing with each other for points. They get points
for doing daily devotions, doing sermon outlines, participating in society activities,
coming to Sunday school, witnessing, and participating in service projects.
You will not want to miss this fun and excitement if you are a teen. Proteens
is open to anyone who will turn 13 during the school year up to those who are
still in High school and are under 20. If you are not a part of a teen program
and live within distance to Branch Chapel FWB Church in Selma N.C., you are invited
to come and be a part of this fun.

Roles & Responsibilities
All
persons associated with Proteen Leadership are expected to dress, act, and conduct
themselves in a manner that would be positive for our youth. Improper dress for
services or activities would be a negative influence and should not occur.
Proteen Director Responsibilities w/ help of assistant
1) Oversee all Proteen services and activities
2) Plan
and conduct Proteen Weekly meetings
3) Plan and direct any Spiritual Retreat
or associated activities
4) Approve ALL Proteen workers and leaders
5) Select Joshua/Ruth Award winners (All Proteens are eligible this year)
6) Record and Track weekly Proteen Points
7) Ensure that the Objectives of
Proteen Ministry is always the main .....emphasis
8) Handle all final finance requirements for Proteens
9) Obtain prior
approval for direction/personnel/activities/trips from the pastor.

Service Coordinators Responsibilities
1)
Coordinating Monthly Service activities, including dates and times
2) Identifying
New Service activities for Proteens
3) Obtain Director’s approval prior to
any new service activity.

raisers for Trips and provide funds to director

Society Sponsor Requirements
1)
filling out weekly score sheets and adding up final points for each society ...member.
2) Verifying scores are correct
3) Initialize scorecards & turn them
into director assistant.
4) Approve Memory verse recitation
5) Provide
Guidance to any Proteen
6) Provide guidance to society members in relationship
to dress and .....conduct.
7) Attend All Proteens
events
8) Encourage spiritual growth from each teen in society.
9) Provide
ways of allowing teens to lead and grow!
10) Contact absent members

Criteria
for Proteens Society Leader
1) Must be regular church attendee at Branch
Chapel FWB church (all .....services)
2) Must
have been in Proteens at least one year.
3) Must have demonstrated ability
to accomplish requirements
4) Must be a good representative of Branch Chapel
FWB Church
5) In the opinion of directors/sponsors, must have leadership
potential.
